EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT: U.S. trade event to highlight sustainable agriculture business opportunities in Cambodia

BANGKOK, January 16, 2020 – The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Green Invest Asia, in partnership with the U.S Embassy in Cambodia and the U.S. Commercial Service, is hosting the annual agriculture trade event from February 6- 7 in Phnom Penh.

The trade event gives U.S. companies, and distributors of U.S. products,  a chance to meet top government officials, investors and businesses to learn of emerging market opportunities, foreign investment incentives as well as challenges in the fast-evolving agriculture sector.

A February 7th USAID Green Invest Asia networking session, “Business Opportunities in Agriculture,”  will feature impact investors, multinational business leaders and agriculture sustainability experts who will cover the growth in the sustainable agribusiness marketplace and conscious consumerism trends in Cambodia and beyond; agri-food responsible sourcing, and; sustainable agriculture investment  case studies and opportunities in Cambodia, ranging from financing small-scale local food systems to large-scale global supply chains.
